Dow closes below 10,000; Kodiak Oil, M.D.C. up 5%

The Dow lost 103 points Monday, closing below 10,000 for the first time since Nov. 4. In Colorado, Kodiak Oil & Gas and MDC Holdings were among actively traded gainers.
